Gephyrophobia

Hi, I'm chehaw, and I'm afraid of high bridges.

I saw this story in the New York Times, and immediately thought of me. I can tick off the list of spans I won't cross--Delaware Memorial, the Tydings, Bay Bridge. I admire their shapes and their strength. But their height, plus my lack of swimming, leaves me less than enamored to cross them. I do try, but it's a struggle.
